This summer go along and see an amazing exhibition entitled Coppiced Wood by Junko Mori at The Holbourne Museum in Bath. The exhibition is free and is on from 6th July to the 8th September so you have plenty of time to go see these amazing works of art. Junko Mori is a metalsmith with a passion for creating beautiful pieces of art. The hand forged steel sculptures are unique and bear a resemblance to many shapes found in nature.

This prize winning artist has had her work exhibited internationally; her pieces range in size and have some extremely intricate details. There is a workshop on the 27th July with Junko Mori herself, where you can learn more about steel sculptures and try some techniques to help entice your artistic side out. The Coppiced Wood exhibition may take you by surprise, especially when you consider these steel objects that replicate the delicate beauty of the nature that surrounds us. Held in The Holbourne Museum’s Ballroom Gallery adds a sense of luxury and elegance to the exhibition.

Make your spa break in Bath unforgettable with a visit to one of the many exhibitions open during the summer months in Bath. There are many to choose from and each has its own individual attraction.

Stunning views of beautiful countryside and an array of historical stories are just a part of what you can find at Little Solsbury Hill near the spa town of Bath. Also known as Mount Badon, Little Solsbury Hill is a favourite spot for locals and visitors to Bath and surrounding areas and also walking enthusiasts.

Referred to as the most likely place for the famous battle in which King Arthur legendarily went against the Saxons, the hill was once an Iron Age hill fort that still holds a great amount of history and promises to be the best place to see the local towns and countryside. Little Solsbury Hill is a great way to get out of the city and relax.

For lovers of nature and wildlife a walk to Solsbury Hill is worth the trip out, pack a picnic and spend the day exploring and walking in the area. The hill is just 191metres above the Avon river and even features in a song written by musician Peter Gabriel in 1977. No spa break in Bath is quite complete without seeing Little Solsbury Hill and the amazing views. Enjoy a family day out as part of your break and take advantage of everything this special place has to offer.

Spring and summer are the ideal times to spend quality time or enjoy a break with your loved one or partner. And for the romantics among us Bath Abbey have now organised a romantic tower tour. Bath Abbey is a popular place to visit for tourists and visitors to the area, but the private and romantic tower tour adds a little something extra for the lovers out there.

The romantic tour of Bath Abbey has added extras for you both to enjoy, sip a glass of chilled bubbly and share the special moment with your loved one, stand atop of the famous vaulted ceiling or take a break behind the beautiful clock face. Don’t forget to chime the bells and announce your love to the city if you want to. Bath Abbey is a great place for a surprise proposal if you are in the mood, or just an unusual and serene way to end a great day with your partner.

Make your spa break in Bath extra special and deepen the bond between you both with a romantic Bath Abbey tour. The spa city of Bath has much to offer and seems to bring out the best in all who visit.
