The Special Olympics Comes to Bath

For a truly amazing experience why not attend the Special Olympics National Games in Bath this summer? Spend an enjoyable day helping to support charities, cheering on the athletes and watching one of the 12 sports this event has for spectators to see. From the 28th August to the 1st September the events will take place at the Sports Training Village at The University of Bath and there will be something for everyone to see.

Get involved and help with sponsorship, learn how the summer games help bring a greater awareness to the needs of the athletes involved and also increase the confidence and motivation among others with any impairment. A visit to the Summer Games is a great way to spend time in the beautiful city of Bath. Sports at the games are Athletics, Artistic Gymnastics, Football, Boccia, Badminton, Short-Mat Bowls, Golf, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Table Tennis, Ten-Pin Bowling, Tennis and Swimming, which are all part of the Special Olympic Programme.
