Our beef sources

We wish to reassure our customers regarding the sources and quality of our beef products. Our steaks, for which we have an excellent reputation, are 28 day matured British beef and are supplied by the very reputable local Church Farm, as are all of our other meats. We do not purchase any processed or prepared meat products and dishes such as beefburger, lasagne and cottage pie are all prepared fresh in our kitchen.

The Royal Hotel.......a great tradition providing hospitality for over 150 years - within walking distance of all of Bath’s leading attractions....

The Royal is a Grade II listed building and first opened as a hotel in 1846 and has been owned by the present owners since 1995. During this time there has been an ongoing programme of renovation and improvements to ensure that this lovely property, which was designed by Brunel, is well maintained and provides attractive facilities for our many guests.

Recent improvements include the total refurbishment of all bathrooms and showers and the redecoration and restyling of the restaurant to create a more informal dining environment has just been completed resulting in a stylish Brasserie which we have named "Brasserie Brunel” as a tribute to the famous designer.

We have an excellent reputation for food and a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. The Royal is totally non-smoking.

Enjoy a lovely holiday at the Hotel Splendid in Liguria in the pretty little town of Laigueglia which retains to this day the characteristics of both traditional fishing village and seaside resort. Located only 30 metres from the sea the Hotel Splendid is both welcoming and discerning; the exterior is typically Ligurian and the interiors and furnishings are rich in history, conserving the charm of the original building, a monastery built between 1300 and 1400. It benefits from a private beach and parking and has a swimming pool in the gardens. It has an excellent reputation for its food. Located only 100 kms from Nice and Genoa airports via motorway. The hotel has been owned and managed by the same family for over 40 years and we can recommend it.
