What a great way to start the New Year! We visited from 30 Dec until 1st Jan and had an amazing time- greatly enhanced by the friendliness and warmth of every single member of staff we met. The staff aims to give guests the best experience they could was clearly visible and should be commended.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Within short walking distances are all local tourist places but there is also a hop on/off tour bus if desired.

Car parking “on site” is limited but don’t let this deter you as there is a drop off point outside the hotel for passengers and luggage and there are numerous car parks nearby (one in the rail station opposite is secure and reasonably priced).

We arrived with friends to celebrate New Year and this was extremely well-managed. Staff were relaxed and attentive to needs. Food was plentiful and of high quality. There was a DJ for music and staff joined in dancing at midnight. A wonderfully relaxed atmosphere!
