More and more of us are starting to appreciate the fun in photography (with a little help from our friend Instagram!) and the excitement of creating the photo album has put a lot of the fun back in trips and breaks.
For those of you who are happiest snapping away from behind your lens, Bath spa breaks are not only a great chance to leave the world behind and relax, but they also mean some infamous landmarks to capture. No1 Royal Crescent still stands as proudly as it did when it was completed in 1770, and the staff are usually wearing the costume of the day to add even more to your pictures. This terrace has become an iconic sight thanks to its semicircular design, so it’s a must for any photographer.
Next, head to Bath Abbey, another of the country’s most impressive sights . Finished in 1616, this imposing abbey church makes an enchanting sight, and if you catch the west facade and its stone angels in the right light you’ll have yourself a photo to cherish forever. The angels are depicted making their way up and down ladders of stone, reflecting the founder’s dream.
