On the 27th July and 26th August there will be a new walking route from Dyrham Park near Bath through local farmland with the Cotswold Voluntary Wardens acting as guides. Places are limited and the walk is expected to take approximately 2.5 hours. Dyrham Park is home to a magnificent herd of Fallow Deer and other wildlife so this walk promises to be a great day out for anyone who decides to participate.
Wonderful gardens, a wild flower orchard and a late 17th century mansion complete the scene and should make Dyrham Park a ‘Must do’ on your list of things to see in the Bath area, even if you choose not to participate in the walk. Run by The National Trust, Dyrham Park also has a tea shop, toilet facilities and even Children’s park activity packs available from the reception area, meaning that both adults and children can enjoy the park and surrounding grounds.
