One of only 4 Royal Navy museums the Fleet Air Arm Museum provides a great way to spend a day if you are in the Bath area. Only a short drive from the city and open daily from 10am until 5pm, this museum offers an insight into maritime and naval life through the years. The Fleet Air Arm Museum concentrates on naval service in the air and has extensive exhibitions for you to enjoy and learn about.
Approximately 90 aircraft and 30,000 artefacts are on display at this fantastic museum, where you can even have your own aircraft carrier experience in the museums interactive and modern theatre. The museum is a perfect day out at any time of year, especially if the weather is not great outside.
