The Best Michelin Star Restaurants in Bath and South West England
Whether you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a delicious lunch or a sumptuous dinner, you will be spoilt for choice when you stay with us at the Royal Hotel in Bath.
- The Olive Tree, Bath – The Olive Tree is one of Bath’s oldest independent restaurants and the only establishment in the city to hold a Michelin star at the time of writing. Located underneath the Queensberry Hotel on Russell Street, it is also the proud recipient of 3 AA rosettes. If you visit the Olive Tree during your stay, you can expect to enjoy classic seasonal dishes with a modern twist.
- Bulrush, Bristol – Situated in Cotham, Bristol, Bulrush offers 6 and 9-course tasting menus, featuring eclectic dishes made from the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. From superb seafood platters and vegetarian delights to complex lamb dishes, Bulrush has it all.
- Osip, Bruton – Osip is a very small farm-to-table restaurant, located in the rural Somerset village of Bruton. Unlike the other restaurants in this guide, Osip has no menus: you are simply served tasty dishes made from whatever ingredients happen to be freshly available that day.
- Lumière, Cheltenham – The latest Michelin star to be awarded in Cheltenham went to Lumière, a husband and wife-run restaurant that focuses on dishes made with the best of British ingredients.
