We eventually got to stay !
I had booked this through a Travelzoo deal fo my wife’s birthday in April but because of Covid we couldn’t take this up. I thought I had lost out this time as I had purchased it as a non refundable deal, however the hotel contacted me and we arranged to go in July. Alas because of the restrictions carrying on I contacted the hotel and rebooked for October. I am pleased to report that this was no problem with the hotel and it was also worth the wait.
The staff were fantastic throughout our stay, even if the restrictions were still evident.
Our room was small but adequate and comfortable. A nice touch was to have a tea pot and a cafetière in the room, more hotels should do this.
The hotel is across from Bath Spa train station and if we return this will be the way to go.
I would Heartily recommend this hotel just on the welcome from the staff alone.
