Thank you Mike, Heidi and all the team for another lovely stay at the Royal. What makes this hotel so special is the totally committed staff. Everyone of them works together for the good of the guests. Mike the manager leads by example and ‘mucks in’ with the staff doing whatever is necessary and Heidi on reception is exceptional!
The position of the hotel is great; opposite the railway station in the centre of Bath. We would recommend paying the small supplement for an upgraded room. The cost is very reasonable but the rooms are more superior. There are only six car parking spaces available for the Royal customers, which need to be pre-booked at a cost of £10 a day but there is plenty of very close public car-parking at similar prices.
Food is absolutely excellent and availability of food for special diets really good. We required gluten-free options, which were plentiful and tasty.
