We had booked an offer package here and were not disappointed. The hotel is smaller than you might think from the name and is near the station so is convenient for walking around Bath. We booked car parking in advance which is essential as they only have 6 spaces. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and feather bedding which is so rare these days and is so conducive to a good night’s sleep. The room was well lit and although it faced the station it was well soundproofed and we had a view of the hills around. It was my husband’s birthday and they did acknowledge this with chocolates on the bed a nice touch. The hospitality tray in the rooms was better than average with ground coffee.

The staff were all very friendly and the included food was of a good standard. They were taking all the appropriate COVID precautions.

My only complaint was that the water pressure in the shower was very weak. The first time I tried to run it the hot water stopped completely, probably a lot of people were using it at the time.
