We stayed at the Royal Hotel on our anniversary trip to Bath. It is conveniently just opposite Bath Spa railway station and we had been impressed by a previous stay.
A warm welcome on our arrival and a pleasant surprise – proper ground coffee and a cafetiere on the drinks tray in our room. The room was spacious and well-appointed, everything worked and the bed was warm and comfortable.
Breakfast next morning was generous (and included in the room price) and the sausage and bacon were of high quality.
