All the staff at the hotel where approachable and friendly. The concierge Tim was absolutely wonderful, very helpful and made you feel at ease. The spa package deal we booked was good value for money. The hotel is perfectly placed, close to the train and bus station, shops and restaurants. We will definitely return. If you are looking for high end modern then the Royal isn’t for you, it’s a lovely old fashioned hotel.
