We had a very comfortable stay between Christmas and New Year. Every aspect was commendable: there wasn’t a weakness. All the staff were friendly and helpful; the beds and pillows were of very high quality, providing a good night’s sleep; the en suite was well serviced, as was the bedroom, and the shower was easy to operate; the hospitality tray was the most generous I have experienced. We enjoyed drinking in the bar and eating in the brasserie: the food was cooked to perfection and well presented. Having steak for breakfast was a first for me, and it was one of the best. Such was our experience that we are hoping to bring our whole family here for Christmas 2022, and it will be our base whenever we visit Bath. Being right opposite the station was a bonus. To sum up, as in this review’s title’, our stay was wholly delightful.
